Brewer wants a long-term deal, but still is considering re-signing with the Rockets, Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! reports.

Analysis:

After being traded from the Timberwolves to the Rockets this past season, Brewer came up huge off the bench down the final stretch of the season for Houston. He finished with averages of 11.9 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.1 steals in 25 minutes per game. The Rockets would likely love to have Brewer back, seeing as though he excels in their high-paced offensive attack, but the team may be reluctant to commit to a long-term deal with small forward, especially after they spent a first round pick in Thursday's draft on swingman Sam Dekker.
