Report: Stanley Johnson refusing to work out for Hornets

Robert Hanashiro / USA TODAY Sports

It seems the Charlotte Hornets will have a little less information than they might have hoped when they make the No. 9 pick in the NBA Draft.

Arizona swingman Stanley Johnson, who both DraftExpress and ESPN's Chad Ford project as the draft's 10th overall pick, is refusing to work out for the Hornets, according to Jonathan Givony of DraftExpress.

The 6-foot-6 Johnson, who averaged 13.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.5 steals in his lone collegiate season, is reportedly hoping to get picked by either the Detroit Pistons at No. 8 or the Miami Heat at No. 10.
