VIDEO: Dwight Howard appears on Tanked, continues awesome offseason
And here we thought Sam Hinkie would have been the most likely NBA personality to appear on a show called Tanked.
Instead, it was Houston Rockets center Dwight Howard appearing on the Animal Planet offering recently, upgrading his house in a major way in the process.
The show follows a pair of brothers-in-law as they manufacture custom aquarium installations for clients. Howard was a logical fit for an episode, as he fancies himself a snake enthusiast. You know, if owning 20 (!) snakes makes you an enthusiast.
Howard's episode saw Wayde King and Brett Raymer create a South American themed tank for Howard's two boas, along with a small aquarium for fish. The teaser clip reveals that Howard is quite impressed with the handiwork:
It's been quite an offseason for the 29-year-old near-7-footer. He's hit up the zoo, taken in some baseball, and even teased a turn inside a WWE ring. It may have been a disappointing end to the season for Howard and the Rockets, and there's surely plenty of work ahead this summer, but Howard's making the most of his early downtime.
