Nowitzki will play for his native country for the first time in four years, as Berlin plays host to one of the tournament's group stage rounds. "I've chosen to be in Berlin," Nowitzki said. But a EuroBasket in our home country is a huge thing and I look forward to it, I thought it would be a great way to conclude my national team career." The soon-to-be-37-year-old figures to be a key component for the German team, and it sounds as though this will be his swan song in international play.
