Iverson believes Big 3 of him, Shaq and Jordan could go 82-0

An undefeated season in the NBA is about as likely as Pauly Shore winning an Oscar for acting.

The closest any team has gotten to an unblemished record was in 1995-96 when the Chicago Bulls went 72-10. They were the first squad in league history to reach the 70-win plateau, further emphasizing how absurd it is to think any franchise could ever achieve perfection for a single season.

Philadelphia 76ers' legend Allen Iverson believes his dream Big Three of himself, Shaquile O'Neal, and Michael Jordan could pull off the impossible and win 82-straight games.

Allen Iverson Crosses Michael Jordan

"We'd go 82-0 even with you in the backcourt," Iverson told Chris Palmer in a special piece for Bleacher Report.

Palmer responded with a sarcastic, "I'd be wide open every play," which would undoubtedly be the case considering his megastar teammates. Any shot not taken by Iverson's dream trio would be looked upon with great disdain, though. Palmer would be wise to get out of the way and not interfere.

With seven combined NBA Most Valuable Player awards and 40 All-Star appearances, an Iverson-Shaq-Jordan combination would have been one of the most dominant forces the league had ever seen.

But an undefeated season? Not likely.

Perhaps a few NBA Championship rings would be enough to quench The Answer's thirst, as he never won a title during his 15-year career.
