Report: Nets may be willing to trade Mason Plumlee

The Brooklyn Nets' front office is becoming popular in the offseason.

The Nets, who finished the regular season with a 38-44 record, are reportedly fielding calls about Mason Plumlee from teams who believe Brooklyn is willing to move the big man, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

The backup center saw his playing time diminish over the season due to his inability to put up points, averaging six points and five rebounds per game after the All-Star break. Plumlee saw at most 13 minutes in one game in the playoffs, and finished the Nets' postseason-ending loss to the Atlanta Hawks with 12 points, eight rebounds, two assists, and two blocks.

Despite those dismal numbers, teams may remember his stronger showing in December and January, which reportedly sparked the Sacramento Kings to take interest in him as part of a rumored Deron Williams deal that fell apart because the Nets reportedly would not part with him.
