Starting Lineups, May 26: LeBron in, Irving returns as Cavs look to close out Hawks

David Richard-USA TODAY Sports

LeBron James has a chance to clinch his fifth consecutive NBA Finals appearance with a win over the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday night.

James has been banged up, but the 30-year-old has been getting around-the-clock treatment to recover in time for Game 4. With the Hawks' perimeter corps weakened due to injury, James has feasted to the tune of 32.7 points, 11.7 rebounds and 10 assists per game while helping the Cleveland Cavaliers to a commanding 3-0 series lead.

Point guard Kyrie Irving, who has been plagued by a lingering case of tendinitis in his left knee, will return to action on Tuesday. Irving has only managed to play in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, but thanks to James's brilliance, Irving's absence has not hindered the Cavaliers.

As for the Atlanta, they will continue to play without two of their top wing players in Kyle Korver and Thabo Sefolosha, who are both done for the season with ankle injuries. That leaves a hobbled DeMarre Carroll - who sprained his knee in Game 1 - and a slightly-built Kent Bazemore to contend with James in the post.

Here are your projected starting lineups.
