Jordan will receive a max offer from the Clippers this summer, NBC Sports reports.

Analysis:

While it's no lock Jordan will stay in Los Angeles - he reportedly plans to explore his options - the Clippers can offer Jordan significantly more money than any other team. Doc Rivers confirmed that the Clips plan to offer the five-year max, which would pay Jordan roughly $109 million. Other teams could only offer Jordan four years and about $81 million. Opinions are split as to whether Jordan is truly a max-level player, but the All-NBA Third-Teamer proved once again this season that he's an elite rebounder and is among the league's top interior defenders. Jordan, a native Texan, will draw significant interest from several teams, and it will certainly be intriguing to see whether or not he'll spurn the Clippers' offer.
