McCollum will practice with Portland's Summer League team but does not think that he will play in any games, the Blazers' official site reports.

Analysis:

McCollum had a breakout performance in April with Wesley Matthews (Achilles) and Arron Afflalo (shoulder) missing time. During that month, McCollum averaged 15.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 0.3 blocks, 1.3 steals and 1.4 three-pointers in 27 minutes on 53 percent shooting from the field. With Matthews and Afflalo possibly moving on to new teams as unrestricted free agents in the offseason, McCollum could easily step into an expanded role next season.
