Frazier will participate in the Las Vegas Summer League this offseason, The Oregonian reports.

Analysis:

Although Frazier fared modestly in his brief audition with the Blazers near the end of the season, he likely wouldn't have made an impression if the team was anywhere close to full health. Hence, his progress throughout the summer, particularly at summer league, will go a long way in determining his future with the team and, to a lesser extent, in the NBA. Nevertheless, his promise shined through with Maine of the D-League this season, as he averaged 16.1 points (on 46 percent shooting), 9.5 assists, 7.1 rebounds, 1.7 steals, and 1.0 three-pointer in 36 minutes en route to MVP and Rookie of the Year honors. Frazier's ability as a distributor is noted, but his professional future will likely rely upon honing in his game from beyond the arc.
