Kevin Garnett headbutted a hole in his wall while watching 'Making the Band'

Fifteen-time NBA All-Star Kevin Garnett has always thrived on competition - whether he's crashing the glass, helping the Boston Celtics win the 2008 Larry O'Brien trophy or ... watching musical hopefuls square off on a reality show.

His competitive nature seriously runs that deep.

Cleveland Cavaliers' assistant coach Tyronn Lue goes into detail on an incident involving his longtime friend headbutting a wall while watching Diddy's "Making the Band" several years ago, per Bleacher Report's Howard Beck:

A lot of people do all their howling on the court and they're faking just for attention, but what he does is genuine. So one day we were at (Garnett's) house and we were watching Puff Daddy's show "Making the Band," and in one of the scenes, some new guys came in and were trying to sing and were trying to compete against the guys who had been there. And KG just got so hyped, "Motherf----r, you've got to stand up for yours! You've got to fight! Motherf----r, you've got to come together!" He's going crazy, he's sweaty. And he just headbutts the wall and put a hole in the wall of his house.

It's not the first time Garnett has used his cranium during an erratic display of emotion. He was suspended for a game in January for headbutting Houston Rockets' center Dwight Howard after an altercation under the basket.

One can only wonder how many other television shows have caused Garnett to lose his cool. Did the "Two and a Half Men" series finale send him over the edge? Was the conclusion of "Breaking Bad" too exciting for his heart to handle?

It'll be a crying shame if Garnett doesn't take part in a season of "Survivor" following his legendary NBA career.
