James Harden: (Illness) Improving, Expected To Play

Harden is still dealing with flu-like symptoms but is expected to play in Game 6 against the Clippers on Thursday, ESPN reports.

Analysis:

Harden exited Game 5 late in the fourth quarter due to illness, and while he's still dealing with symptoms, it's difficult to imagine him missing an elimination game. "He looked OK," coach Kevin McHale said. "He had a little bit of a cough. We just had a meeting and watched some film. We didn't do anything. He looked OK." It sounds as though Harden will likely be less than 100 percent, but considering he put up a triple-double Tuesday after requiring an IV before the game, he remains a strong daily play.
