When it comes to free agency, maybe mother knows best.

Golden State Warriors small forward Draymond Green is set to become a highly sought-after restricted free agent this summer, and rumors are swirling that the versatile two-way threat may be looking to make a move to his home state to play with Andre Drummond on the Detroit Pistons.

But his mother does not have him packing his bags just yet.

Mary Babers-Green, Green's mother, hinted in a recent interview with the Detroit Free Press' Joe Rexrode that her son may not be looking to make a change.

"I want him to stay in the place that will be the most productive for his career, and I want what makes him happy," said Babers-Green. "The Bay loves Dray, and Dray loves the Bay. I've got NBA TV."

The Warriors know that love costs major bucks, and are reportedly willing to pay. After rumors surfaced that Green may seek a homecoming, reports have Golden State willing to match any offer he Green receives, which could be more than $12 million annually.
