Ohio State's Cardale Jones is coming for Joakim Noah's neck in latest sports beef

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

No one is safe from Joakim Noah's smack talk, not even a national college football champion.

When Ohio State star quarterback Cardale Jones stepped onto the court at Quicken Loans Arena during Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Chicago Bulls, the Bulls center, and former Florida Gator, had some choice words for the young Buckeye.

Ah, the old "Southeastern Conference is better than everyone" jab.

Maybe Noah missed the College Football Playoff, since Ohio State, part of the Big Ten Conference, toppled top-ranked SEC powerhouse Alabama in the Sugar Bowl on their road to claiming the national title.

Nevertheless, that trash talk won't fly past 12 Gauge.

Noah, however, appears be unphased by the college student's threats, telling the media on Thursday, "I didn't even know who he was until this morning."

Stick to taking shots on the hardwood, Joakim. You don't want this.

This is a quarterback destroying a defender.
