Anderson is expected to have his ankle cleaned out this offseason, Mike Mazzeo of ESPN reports.

Analysis:

Anderson missed the final seven games of the regular season with a sprained ankle, but he returned to average 23.7 minutes over the Nets' six-game series against Atlanta. He played well in the postseason, shooting 61 percent from the field and 62.5 percent from three, but he's apparently still bothered by the ankle. The 32-year-old's future with the team is up in the air this summer, as he said last week that he plans to decline his player option in hopes of landing a longer-term deal in Brooklyn or elsewhere.
