Mike Conley: (Face) Believes He'll Play Game 2

Conley (face) said he expects to play in Tuesday's Game 2 against the Warriors, Peter Fleischer of FOX Sports Memphis reports.

Analysis:

Conley, who missed Game 1 after undergoing surgery to repair multiple facial fractures, took part in practice Monday and went through a shooting workout following the session. While team doctors will ultimately have the final say, it appears Conley, himself, has recovered to the point that he's comfortable playing. However, coach Dave Joerger was not as optimistic, telling the media that Conley will be listed as "doubtful" for Game 2.
