Love (shoulder) reportedly underwent successful surgery on Wednesday in New York City and is projected to need four-to-six months for recovery time.

Analysis:

With that projected recovery time, Love will be out for the rest of the postseason. While it was rumored that was likely the case, this only confirms it and it's a big blow to the Cavaliers' playoff outlook. Tristan Thompson seems likely to move into the starting lineup, although the Cavaliers could move some players around and get either Shawn Marion or James Jones in the starting lineup as well. Either way, those players should receive more playing time due to Love's injury. We'll have to wait and see what coach David Blatt decides to do Thursday.
