Aldridge said he does not regret delaying thumb surgery, but he noted that he's still bothered by the injury, Michael Wallace of ESPN reports.

Analysis:

Aldridge tore a ligament in his left thumb back in January, but he opted to delay surgery and play through the ailment. It hasn't seemed to affect his play, but he acknowledged Wednesday that the injury is still bothersome, saying, "if feeling great is 10, I'm about a five or six." Aldridge will continue to play through the ligament tear with the expectation that surgery will be necessary this summer.
