Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports

Already looking at playing the rest of this postseason without Kevin Love, the Cleveland Cavaliers will also open their second-round series without starting shooting guard J.R. Smith.

Smith got hit with a two-game suspension for a wild backhand swing that caught Boston Celtics swingman Jae Crowder in the face.

JR smith drills Crowder with a backhand. Crowder injured, Smith ejected.

Smith claimed afterwards that the swing was unintentional, but he still felt compelled to post on Instagram about it, vowing to be better in the future for himself, his teammates, his family and his fans.
