President Obama backs Bulls over Wizards in playoffs

Though he currently resides in Washington, the Wizards get no love from President Barack Obama. 

Obama has made it clear where his playoff loyalties lie: with his hometown of Chicago.  

The President told the The Wall Street Journal's Gerald F. Seib on Monday that if a postseason showdown between the Washington Wizards and the Chicago Bulls is to take place, he can be expected to don a Bulls jersey.  

"I think it's fair to say any time the Bulls are playing I'm rooting for the Bulls," said Obama. "Bulls all the way, that's how we roll."

Don't worry, Wizards, the President did not forget about you. 

"But you know, Washington has been able to turn the season around," said Obama of his current city's team. "They kind of limped into the playoffs but they've got their mojo back. So who knows? They may end up having a nice little run."

If you ignore the limping part, that was quite sweet. 

The Wizards have secured their spot in the next round of the playoffs after a four-game sweep of the Toronto Raptors. 

The Bulls are still on shaky postseason ground, as the Milwaukee Bucks have forced a Game 6 with two consecutive victories.
