VIDEO: Paul's insane speed gets Jordan easy jam

Jayne Kamin-Oncea-USA TODAY Sports

Against any other opponent, the following result would look like the product of poor transition defense.

Spare the San Antonio Spurs the criticism, because there's little any defense could do against the Los Angeles Clippers when play swings the other direction. They're beasts on the move, with several unguardable pieces working in sync to form an unstoppable machine.

To wit, Chris Paul completely broke the Spurs down at the end of the first quarter Wednesday.

Paul runs the ball up the court, putting pressure on two Spurs tasked with containing him. He slows for a step to lull them into comfort, then blows by both into the paint. When the help comes (awkwardly), he simply drops the ball off to the helper's man, DeAndre Jordan, who makes little mistake on the emphatic finish.

ahh

Fingers could be pointed at Patty Mills, Boris Diaw or Tiago Splitter here, but really, who wouldn't Paul fool with this change-of-pace drive? He's the Point God, out here making miracles of everyday plays.
