Rajon Rondo: (Back) Out Indefinitely

Rondo has been ruled out indefinitely with a back injury sustained in Tuesday's Game 2 against the Rockets, ESPN's Marc Stein reports.

Analysis:

Rondo had somewhat of a bizarre performance in Tuesday's Game 2 loss, committing four fouls and some uncharacteristic turnovers in only 10 minutes. He was seen with a heating pad on his back during the second half, but this is the first we're hearing of an injury that could threaten his status for Game 3. Until further notice, Rondo should be considered questionable, though it seems highly unlikely he plays Friday, given both the injury and his ineffective play.
