Rockets' Terry fined $5K for flopping in Game 2

Houston Rockets guard Jason Terry has been fined $5,000 for violating the NBA's anti-flopping rule during Tuesday's Game 2 victory over the Dallas Mavericks.

Terry dramatically embellished the degree of contact resulting from a Dirk Nowitzki screen midway through the third quarter.

No foul was called on the play. Terry went on to score eight points on 3-of-3 shooting to go along with two assists, two rebounds and a steal in 24 minutes of action as the Rockets took a 2-0 series lead with a 111-99 victory.

Game 3 is set for Friday night in Dallas.
