Hawks' Horford says he will play in Game 2 vs. Nets

Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports

Al Horford is ready for battle.

The Atlanta Hawks center told the media on Tuesday afternoon that he will play in Game 2 against the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday after dislocating his pinky on his shooting hand in Game 1's victory.

Although Horford is willing to play through the discomfort of a dislocated digit, his play may still show signs of struggle. The center told the media on Monday that having it taped up made it uncomfortable for him to shoot the ball in Game 1 on Sunday.
