NBA adjusts start times for Sunday's action

John E. Sokolowski-USA TODAY Sports

Sunday could be the last time all season the NBA has four games on the same day, and the league wants to nail its quadruple-header perfectly.

The league has tweaked the start times for two of Sunday's games, moving Game 4 tips between the Toronto Raptors and Washington Wizards and Houston Rockets and Dallas Mavericks up by 30 minutes to create an earlier four-set. With Eastern Conference teams comfortable with a 1 p.m. ET start and difficult competition from Sunday night's television lineups, the move makes sense to maximize eyes on the series of Game 4s.

The revised schedule for Sunday is as follows:

Series Game Teams New Start Time Network
4 Cleveland at Boston 1 p.m. ET ABC
4 L.A. Clippers at San Antonio 3:30 p.m. ET ABC
4 Toronto at Washington 6:30 p.m. ET TNT
4 Houston at Dallas 9 p.m. ET TNT

The full Western Conference and Eastern Conference schedules are available here and here, respectively.

This could be the last night of the season for some of these teams, particularly the Boston Celtics, so it'll be must-see viewing in some cases. Plus, it may be the final chaotic, dawn-to-dusk day of the year.
