Magic's Gordon, Payton will take part in Summer League

All those who didn't quite get their fill of the Orlando Magic's exciting rookies this season can circle July on their calendars.

That's when the Magic will hold their Summer League, and both point guard Elfrid Payton and forward Aaron Gordon will be participating, according to Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel. 

Despite some glaring holes in their respective games, Payton and Gordon flashed all kinds of unique ability in their maiden NBA campaigns. 

Payton has a shaky jumper (at best) but established himself as a precocious floor general with elite vision and passing skills. Gordon, who missed large swaths of time due to injuries, is a tremendous athlete without a clear position, who has the tools – if not yet the wherewithal – to be a plus defender. 

In short, they've both got some things to work on, so a bit of Summer League run should do them some good.
