Blazers' Aldridge probable, Kaman doubtful, Batum, McCollum out vs. Mavs

Mark D. Smith-USA TODAY Sports

After dealing with a rash of injuries, the Portland Trail Blazers are limping to the finish line.

Nicolas Batum and C.J. McCollum will not play Wednesday in the Blazers' regular season finale against the Dallas Mavericks after suffering injuries during Portland's loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday. Batum left the game after injuring his right knee - the same knee he had injured earlier in the season - and an MRI confirms that he has a contusion.

McCollum did not return to the matchup after sustaining a left ankle sprain.

Chris Kaman may also miss Portland's last regular-season game. Kaman, who injured his back against the Thunder, is doubtful for action.

However, not all of the news is terrible for the Blazers. The team has announced that LaMarcus Aldridge, who leads the team in scoring and rebounds, is probable to play on Wednesday after suffering a foot sprain.

Portland is the fourth seed in the Western Conference.
