Wall returns to Wizards' lineup Sunday after 2 games of rest

Brad Mills-USA TODAY Sports

John Wall will return to the Washington Wizards' lineup against the short-handed Atlanta Hawks on Sunday after sitting out consecutive games to rest.

The All-Star point guard was rested for Wednesday and Friday's games, ending a streak of consecutive games played that dated back to Jan. 7, 2013. He'll be available against the East-leading Hawks.

The Wizards, who are all but secure in the East's No. 5 seed, should be in line for a victory on Sunday, given that the Hawks are once again resting their entire starting lineup.

Wall is averaging 17.5 points, 10 assists, 4.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists, with the Wizards performing more than 13 points per 100 possessions better with him on the court.
