LaMarcus Aldridge: (Foot) Out Saturday

Aldridge has a left foot sprain and will not play Saturday against the Jazz, the Oregonian reports.

Analysis:

There's been no explanation offered as to when Aldridge suffered the injury, so it's possible the team is just finding a reason to rest their All-Star heading into the playoffs. Meyers Leonard earned the start in Aldridge's place for Monday's game against the Nets, but Chris Kaman was also sitting out that game, so it's unclear who will get the starting nod Saturday.
