Paul Millsap out at least 2 more games with shoulder sprain

As if the Atlanta Hawks weren't shorthanded enough.

Injured power forward Paul Millsap will miss at least two more games for the Eastern Conference's best team, as his sprained right shoulder still isn't ready for game action. Millsap was injured April 4 and has sat out the team's last two games, both victories.

The injury isn't believed to be serious, but there are only two games left after Sunday for Millsap to shake off any rust. From there, it's the playoffs, where the No. 1-seed Hawks will take on whichever team wins the war of attrition for the conference's final playoff spot.

Mike Muscala has started in Horford's place, scoring 25 points with eight rebounds and six steals in two games. That's solid production, but the Hawks need Millsap at 100 percent if they're going to make a run to the NBA Finals.

In 72 games, Millsap is averaging 16.8 points, 7.8 rebounds, three assists and 1.8 steals while shooting 47.9 percent from the floor and 35.8 percent on threes. The 59-19 Hawks have been 5.3 points per-100 possessions better with him on the floor.
