Brandon Knight: (Ankle) Likely Out For Season

Knight (ankle) is expected to miss the rest of the season due to a heel bone bruise, the Arizona Republic reports. "It's a tough situation," he said. "If it feels better, we'll see what happens but I'm in no rush to come back and make any worse. You can't just keep pounding on a bruise and have it get better."

Analysis:

With five contests remaining on the schedule and no end in sight to a full recovery, Knight is certainly a candidate to miss the remainder of the season. He won't join the Suns on their four-game road trip Tuesday through Sunday and isn't expected to play in the season finale on Tuesday, Apr. 14 against the Clippers. As a result, coach Jeff Hornacek will continue to ride P.J. Tucker and Marcus Morris on the wing.
