Pistons' Greg Monroe to return Wednesday after 11-game absence

The Detroit Pistons will have power forward Greg Monroe back in uniform for the first time in nearly a month Wednesday, Keith Langlois of Pistons.com reports.

Monroe, who's been sidelined for the past 11 games due to a right knee strain, went through a full practice Monday and is slated to start Wednesday's game against the Boston Celtics.

Monroe leads the Pistons in scoring at 16 points per game and ranks second with a 21.1 PER, but the Pistons have been surprisingly proficient without him. They've racked up a 7-4 record, with his frontcourt mate Andre Drummond averaging 16.9 points and 14.8 rebounds.

The Pistons have five games left to play this season, and with Monroe set to become an unrestricted free agent, they could be his last in a Detroit uniform.
