VIDEO: Mavericks present 'Guards of the Galaxy'

The Dallas Mavericks have already proven themselves to be adept appropriators of popular culture (though we're still waiting for a follow-up to that first "Run DMC" single), and they've returned to the well to give the five members of their backcourt some shine. 

"Guards of the Galaxy," a spoof of Marvel's summer smash "Guardians of the Galaxy," doesn't make a whole lot of narrative sense, but it could be a star-making vehicle for breakout performer J.J. Barea.
