Starting Lineups: March 31

Cary Edmondson-USA TODAY Sports

For a night that doesn't have many games on the slate, Tuesday is promising an awful lot of action. Three of the four matchups have serious playoff implications, particularly with respect to the bottom of the Eastern Conference playoff race.

The Pacers and Nets kick things off with the eighth seed in the balance - if Brooklyn wins, they'll jump ahead of Boston, whereas Indiana can pull into a tie with the Celtics with a victory. Shortly after, the Heat will look to further insulate themselves as the seventh seed against the scorching-hot Spurs, who are looking to steal home court advantage in the first round at the last minute.

The other two games involve teams with nothing to play for in the Warriors and Hawks, the league's two best outfits. But the nightcap matters to the Clippers, who are right there with the Spurs on the tails of Memphis, Houston and Portland in the West's top-four.

Told you it was a lot of action.
