Timberwolves' Martin available to return Monday

Jesse Johnson-USA TODAY Sports

Minnesota Timberwolves shooting guard Kevin Martin is available to return from a four-game absence on Monday against the Utah Jazz.

Whether Martin, who had been sidelined with a strained hamstring, actually sees the floor on Monday remains to be seen.

The veteran scorer is averaging 20.2 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists on a solid True Shooting Percentage of 55.5 for the rebuilding T-Wolves, who remain without Ricky Rubio, Kevin Garnett and Nikola Pekovic.

Martin has had a history of injury issues and this season has been no different, as the 32-year-old has appeared in only 33 games. He's cracked the 70-game mark only four times in 11 seasons.
