Derrick Favors: Exits With Back Spasms

Favors exited Friday's game against the Nuggets in the fourth quarter with back spasms and will not return, the Salt Lake Tribune reports.

Analysis:

Favors was having a slow game prior to his exit with just seven points in 19 minutes, and it's likely the sore back was at least part of the cause, as Favors had tallied a double-double in three straight games entering Friday's contest. With the Jazz playing again Saturday, the back spasms could potentially cost Favors more action.
