Analysis:
It will be the seventh straight absence for Hardaway, who continues to nurse a wrist injury. Coach Derek Fisher said that the guard is close to returning, however. "He's doing more each day, but he's still having some pain and his range of motion is not enough," Fisher said. Given their situation, the Knicks certainly won't rush Hardaway back, but he'll likely return to action next week, barring a setback.
