Golden State Warriors (58-13) at Memphis Grizzlies (50-22), 8 p.m. (ET)

(SportsNetwork.com) - The newly crowned kings of the Pacific Division will shoot for an eighth straight win, as the Golden State Warriors continue a four-game road trip Friday against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Friday's battle between the top two teams in the Western Conference shouldn't disappoint and the heavyweights are separated by 8 1/2 games.

The NBA-best Warriors are 12-1 in the last 13 games and sewed up a division title with Tuesday's 122-108 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers at the Moda Center. Stephen Curry scored 33 points on 13-of-22 shooting and made five of his nine 3-point attempts.

Curry handed out 10 assists as well, while Andre Iguodala added 21 points off the bench and Klay Thompson scored 16 points. Andrew Bogut grabbed 16 rebounds to go along with 10 points and Draymond Green added a double-double of 14 points and 11 boards in the win.

Golden State shot a sizzling 60.2 percent for the game and made 12-of-26 3- pointers. It also had a 46-35 rebounding advantage and recorded a 36-18 scoring advantage in the third quarter.

The Warriors clinched their first Pacific title since capturing division supremacy in both the 1974-75 and 1975-76 seasons.

"It's a proud moment, but staying in the moment is the best thing," said Curry. "We have to stay focused on the bigger goals we have this season."

The road trip continues for the Warriors Saturday in Milwaukee followed by a visit to the LA Clippers. They are 24-11 on the road and can set a franchise record for most road wins in a season Friday night.

Golden State leads the NBA in scoring (109.8), field goal percentage (47.9) and opponents' field goal percentage (42.4). It is 34-8 against teams from the West, including a 14-7 road mark in such games.

Meanwhile, the Grizzlies are No. 2 in the conference standings and look to trim some space between themselves and the Warriors.

Memphis, though, didn't do itself any favors with Wednesday's 111-89 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers at FedExForum. The Cavs led by as many as 29 points and made 51.2 percent of their shots. They also grabbed a 49-32 rebounding advantage against one of the toughest frontcourts in the NBA.

Marc Gasol scored 18 points and had just three rebounds, while fellow big man Zach Randolph was limited to five points and three boards. Beno Udrih scored 15 points off the bench for the Grizzlies, who had won three in a row and five of the previous six games.

"I thought we missed a lot of shots, and they were able to play free and loose, playing from the lead for most of the game," Memphis coach Dave Joerger said.

The Grizzlies have a 1 1/2-game lead on the Houston Rockets for Southwest bragging rights and are 27-8 at home. They hope Gasol and Randolph can slow down a high-powered Golden State offense, and the inside matchup with Bogut, Green and Harrison Barnes will be interesting.

Memphis is second in the NBA in opponents' scoring at 95.4 ppg and has another tough game ahead at San Antonio Sunday night.

Golden State dropped a 105-98 decision at Memphis on Dec. 16 and Gasol recorded 24 points to lead the way. Thompson countered with 22 points and Curry supplied 19 in that one for Golden State, which will host Memphis on April 13 at Oracle Arena.

The Grizzlies are 12-2 in the previous 14 games in this series.
