Pistons' Monroe out Tuesday against Raptors

For the fifth-consecutive game, the Detroit Pistons will be without power forward Greg Monroe on Tuesday.

Monroe is dealing with a knee injury and won't play against the Toronto Raptors, reports Carlos Monarrez of the Detroit Free Press.

Monroe has been a steady contributor for the Pistons, averaging a double-double with 16 points and 10.4 rebounds. Pistons head coach Stan Van Gundy will likely opt for Anthony Tolliver to fill in for Monroe in the starting lineup.

On the whole, the Pistons have struggled since the All-Star break, but things have started to look up of late.

The Pistons have won two in a row thanks to the emergence of Reggie Jackson and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who have formed a formidable backcourt. Jackson is averaging 18.3 points, 13 assists and 6.3 rebounds, while Caldwell-Pope has chipped in with 21.5 points on 52.4 percent shooting.
