The Boston Celtics picked the right time to snap out of their three-game funk.

In a battle versus fellow Eastern Conference playoff hopeful, the Celtics pumped the Brooklyn Nets 110-91 at Barclays Center on Monday.

Evan Turner recorded his second triple-double of the season in the win, finishing with 19 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds, helping the Celtics move into eighth in the East.

Boston had six players score in double figures, led by Avery Bradley, who dropped 20 points with seven assists and six rebounds.

Both the Celtics and Nets are fighting for the final two playoff spots in the East, along with the Miami Heat, Indiana Pacers and Charlotte Hornets in a race that looks like it's going to come down to the wire.

The Pacers lost Monday to the Houston Rockets, falling a game behind the Celtics for the eighth seed. James Harden erupted for 44 points to drop the Pacers to 10th, while the Hornets lost to the Chicago Bulls to fall a half-game back of the Celtics.

Boston faces the Heat on Wednesday and still has games remaining against the Hornets and Pacers.

The Nets spoiled a huge night from Brook Lopez, who moved into fifth all time in the franchise's scoring list with a 31-point effort. Deron Williams chipped in with 10 points, 10 assists and nine rebounds in the loss.
