Blazers' Batum, Kaman doubtful Tuesday vs. Warriors

Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

As if playing the league-leading Golden State Warriors wasn't already a tall enough task, the Portland Trail Blazers may have to do so without the services of LaMarcus Aldridge, Nicolas Batum and Chris Kaman, who are all listed as doubtful for Tuesday's game.

All three missed practice on Monday.

Aldridge - who was already playing through a torn thumb ligament on his left hand - suffered a sprained left index finger in Saturday's loss to the Memphis Grizzlies.

Batum left Saturday's game with lower back pain, while Kaman missed the game with a shoulder injury.

The Blazers, of course, are already dealing with the devastating loss of Wesley Matthews, who was lost for the season to a ruptured Achilles.

At 44-24, Portland sits fourth in the Western Conference, trailing the Warriors by 11.5 games. Despite their Northwest Division lead granting them a top-four seed, the Blazers would start the postseason on the road if the playoffs began today, as they're a half-game behind the fifth-seeded Los Angeles Clippers.
