Magic's Harris, Dedmon, Green out Friday

Kim Klement / USA TODAY Sports

The Orlando Magic's bench will be tested Friday.

Small forward Tobias Harris, power forward Dewayne Dedmon and shooting guard Willie Green will sit out Friday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers, reports Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel.

Harris is the most impactful player of the three. The fourth-year forward is dealing with a lingering ankle injury. He's averaging 16.9 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 34.7 minutes per game while shooting a career-high 36.9 percent from deep.

Dedmon and Green have primarily chipped in as bench contributors, though the former has drawn the starting assignment in each of the Magic's last eight contests. Dedmon is dealing with an ankle injury while Green remains afflicted by a bad back.

The Magic will likely turn to Maurice Harkless and Channing Frye to replace Harris and Dedmon in the starting lineup.
