Minor injuries keep Ibaka, Adams out of practice; Durant plays 3-on-3

The Oklahoma City Thunder better hope Russell Westbrook has some rocket fuel left in the tank.

Tied with the New Orleans Pelicans (and down a tiebreaker) for the Western Conference's eighth and final playoff spot, the Thunder are banged up, which includes the lingering foot issue that's expected to keep Kevin Durant sidelined for at least another week.

Neither Serge Ibaka nor Steven Adams practiced on Saturday due to minor ailments, according to head coach Scott Brooks. Enes Kanter was also held out of practice for undisclosed reasons.

Ibaka is dealing with right knee soreness, which kept him out of Friday's win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, and he's considered day-to-day. Adams has a right thigh contusion, and it's unclear how his status will be affected moving forward.

If either is unable to suit up, things could get dicey for the Thunder. They have a tough back-to-back on the docket, with games against the Chicago Bulls and Dallas Mavericks on Sunday and Monday, respectively.

The good news is that Durant continues to progress, and was able to participate in a portion of practice and play some 3-on-3, according to Brooks.
