Blake Griffin: (Elbow) Could Return Friday

Griffin (elbow) is approaching a return to the court and could play Friday at Dallas, the Orange County Register reports.

Analysis:

Coach Doc Rivers is "very close" to playing for the first time since coming down with a staph infection in his right elbow before the All-Star break. Although a return is possible Friday, Griffin is more likely to suit up Sunday against the Rockets or Tuesday versus the Hornets.
