Butler (elbow) is getting closer to returning to the Bulls' lineup, Nick Friedell of ESPN Chicago reports.

Analysis:

Butler started taking shots Sunday prior to the game, and it sounds as though he may be ahead of the initial 3-6 week timetable. However, he'll likely need to get in a practice or two before rejoining the lineup.
