There's a first time for everything.

Future Hall of Famer Tim Duncan failed to make a field goal for the first time in his career in Sunday's win over the Chicago Bulls, the 1,311th game of his career. Duncan shot 0-of-8 from the field in 28 minutes, securing eight rebounds and three assists in the 116-105 victory, the Spurs' fifth in a row.

It was a rare off night for the 38-year-old, who's showing little signs of aging in the 18th season of his illustrious career. Duncan entered the day with averages of 14.4 points, 9.5 rebounds and 1.9 blocks in 29.4 minutes per game.

Tony Parker powered the Spurs with a season-high 32 points.

The surging Spurs passed the Dallas Mavericks for the No. 6 seed in the loaded Western Conference. San Antonio will look to make it six in a row Tuesday when it hosts the Atlantic Division-leading Toronto Raptors
