Teletovic reaches out to Bosh: 'He doesn't have to worry, he's going to be good'

As scared as Chris Bosh may be while sidelined due to blood clots on his lungs, he has a willing confidant in Mirza Teletovic.

Teletovic is likewise out for the season after blood clots were discovered in his lungs following a long run of inexplicably not feeling like himself physically. Like Bosh, he's on blood-thinning medication that renders him unable to play, and he's hopeful he can return in six months, right around the start of next season.

Teletovic is further along the recovery path, and he sent out a friendly message to Bosh, who was released from the hospital last Wednesday.

"I want to take this opportunity to reach out to Chris Bosh," Teletovic told the New York Post, "and tell him he doesn't have to worry. He's going to be good, and he's going to start working out soon."

The Bosnian forward has already been able to get back in the gym and work out in full, but he remains unable to participate in any contact activities because of the blood-thinning medication. That restriction should be lifted in July, which could give Bosh hope that he'll be ready for the start of the 2015-16 season.
