Walker (knee) has been cleared to resume basketball activities.

Analysis:

Walker, who underwent surgery in late-January to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee, has been cleared to practice without restrictions, so it's only a matter of time before he's back on the court. The point guard is without a firm return date, but he should be considered day-to-day going forward until the team provides a timetable. Coach Steve Clifford said, barring a setback, he hopes to have Walker back sometime during the team's upcoming West Coast road swing, which begins Mar. 16 in Utah. Walker was averaging 18.8 points, 5.2 assists and 3.8 rebounds per game prior to the injury.
