ESPN anchor fires back at Swaggy P

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

ESPN anchor Robert Flores took a jab at hip-hop artist Iggy Azalea, the girlfriend of entertaining Los Angeles Lakers wing Nick Young, on Monday. And Swaggy P didn't like it, as evidenced by the warning shots he fired off in a series of tweets at the "Sportscenter" host.

The unlikely beef didn't end there, however, as Flores didn't back down and hit Swaggy P where it counts.

"If you look at his numbers, there is a 70 percent chance that if he takes a shot at me he's going to miss," Flores said on ESPN radio show Sedano and Stink (at around the 43-minute mark of the audio). "I'm just looking at the numbers, so I'm good."

Flores's diss was of course in reference to Young's shooting percentage. Young's shooting a career-worst 36.6 percent from the field for the 16-42 Lakers, who are mired in their worst season in franchise history since moving from Minnesota to Los Angeles.

The jabs were all in good fun, Flores said, but Young kept going at him.

Swaggy P will get a chance to improve his shooting accuracy Tuesday when the Lakers visit the Charlotte Hornets
