Gabrielle Union spends afternoon on Twitter, says NBA should suspend Harden

Actress Gabrielle Union, who also happens to be the wife of Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade, chimed in Monday on James Harden's kick to to the King's jewels-area of LeBron James during Sunday's Cavaliers-Rockets extravaganza.

Her verdict: Harden should be suspended, just like her hubby was for this 2012 transgression against then-Charlotte Bobcat Ramon Sessions. Good news for her. Harden was suspended Monday night for Tuesday's game against the Atlanta Hawks.

While misspelling his name, points to Union for the shot at NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

Naturally, with almost 2.2 million followers, Union was quickly swarmed by supporters, detractors and social upchuck. But she foraged on, even entering ol' reliable NBA conspiracy theory territory by suggesting a non-suspension of Harden for Tuesday's Rockets-Hawks tilt would be a decision based on television ratings.

Give Union credit, though - she hung in with the ugly side of Twitter, and even tipped her hat to "Meet me in Temecula."
